At FT Works, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full, connected, and meaningful life in their community. Based in the South Portland Metro area, we are a dedicated Community Living Supports agency committed to helping individuals build independence, confidence, and real-world skills that matter.
We provide a range of services designed to meet people where they are and support where they want to go. From Community Living Supports (CLS) that build everyday life skills, to Employment Services that open doors to meaningful work, to engaging Activity Clubs delivered through Day Support Activities (DSA) and Attendant Care, everything we do is rooted in community integration and personal growth.
What truly sets FT Works apart is our commitment to innovation and opportunity. We are proud to have launched Oregon’s first Project SEARCH transition program, creating a powerful pathway for young adults to gain hands-on work experience and transition successfully into the workforce. The success of this program reflects what we strive for every day—real outcomes, real independence, and real inclusion.

FT Works was formed in 2023 as a subsidiary of Fidgetech, a 501(c)3 organization. Fidgetech was co-founded in 2016 by FT Works Director, Jeanna Johnson, as a tech education and
career exploration non-profit serving adults on the autism spectrum. Fidgetech was founded in 2016, became a VR Vendor in 2018 and private career school offering state recognized certificates in coding and multi-media.
FT Works collaborates with key system partners, including Vocational Rehabilitation and local Developmental Disabilities (DD) programs, to support individuals in achieving competitive, integrated employment and long-term stability.
In 2024 they were awarded a ARPA Grant to pilot a Project SEARCH transition program in Oregon. The program demonstrated strong outcomes in workforce readiness and employment placement for transition-age individuals.
